How Do You Get The Process Rolling?
If you have a plan of what you want, the next big step is reaching out to let us hear about your great idea. It's okay if you don't have all the details yet and need to talk through what size and type of building works best for your needs. We have helped hundreds of people in counties around Indiana and Ohio build barns and homes for their families and businesses. Use one of the contact forms here on the website or simply pick up the phone and call our office.
After all the details are settled and have your building designed exactly how you want it, we'll stop by your property to map out everything and do some necessary paperwork. If you're an Allen County, Indiana resident, we will work with planning and zoning and the building department on your behalf. For all other counties, our clients contact their local municipalities and handle that paperwork. If you have never pulled a permit, that's okay, we'll help with any information needed. Once a permit is secured, underground utilities are flagged, and a down payment is made, we will then order all your building materials and schedule excavation and drop off.
From your first phone call to our office to the day our crew guys arrive to start building, it may take anywhere from a month to a year. Some projects come together quickly and easily while others take lots of planning and permitting. Most pole barn projects can be completed within three to six months from your initial contact. After we get started you should see your building erected in a matter of days. The best news is we are always available to build! Even in the coldest days of winter, our guys can work on framing up the barn of your dreams.
